After a pleasantly mild and dry autumn (flowers blooming in December!), winter seems to have finally woken up in Scotland. Here is the view from Vorlich bedroom window yesterday morning, showing a fresh blanket of snow on Ben Ledi.
Yesterday's crisp, clear weather has been replaced with a wet and windy spell - waterproofs and wellington boots are the height of fashion for now!
On the farm, the sheep and cattle have begun receiving their winter feed supplements, which involves lots of zipping around on quads (ATVs). Thankfully, the log stoves are on hand for thawing out afterwards :)
